Only Days To Go
There’s only three days to go until Morrowind the latest and largest expansion is released for The Elder Scrolls Online.
In this latest expansion, set approximately 700 years before The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Players will return to the “iconic island of Vvardenfell”, with an extra thirty hours of gameplay and an all new character class, what’s not to love? Set out to help Vivec, the legendary warrior-poet and guardian of Vvardenfell. Travel from the volcanic Ashlands, to the mushroom-filled forests and walk the famed Vivec City streets, still under construction at this point in time.
But Why Is There A Release Date?
You may be wondering, why have they included a release date. Why would they include a release day if it was already available to play using the digital upgrade?
To be truly honest, I cannot see the positives in releasing an expansion much earlier and allowing those who can upgrade to play and get access to the new stuff way before those who will buy the full release of the game. Those who could upgrade could have done so from the 22nd of May. Does this take away the motivation for people to buy the full game? In most cases yes, but I don’t think they were ever really targeting the new audience, they were targeting the pre-existing player-base. The logic behind doing this is justified by the poor release performance in 2014 causing many people to abandon the idea of even playing the game.
So, Is It Worth It?
After spending only just a few hours playing the expansion I was Immersed, I couldn’t keep away for too long even the smallest coffee break made me agitated.
Maybe that was the coffee…
But to be truly honest purchasing the upgrade is a much better and cheaper alternative than buying the full game set once again. Especially if you use our G2A link to save up to $20 AUD on the upgrade.
